Instant Light Charcoal vs Regular Charcoal

BBQ
Instant Light Charcoal VS Regular Charcoal

A classic battle which one is better. Well to me its a no brainier I choose Regular Charcoal over Instant Light any day, and to me its because no matter what I always seem to be able to taste the starter fluid they are drenched in. I know what your thinking you have to use lighter fluid to start regular charcoal also, this is true but I just feel like its easier to burn off since it's only on the top layer where it seems that Instant Charcoal is saturated in the starter fluid and doesn't seem to burn off. Now I'm not saying you won't ever taste the lighter fluid in Regular Charcoal I'm just saying that it is more likely to burn off without leaving a aftertaste. Although Instant Light Charcoal does have an advantage you don't need the lighter fluid, and I know at one point or another I have been seen kicking rocks because I didn't have any lighter fluid for Regular Charcoal. And in moderate wind conditions it is easier to get the instant light rolling faster. But overall When it comes to my BBQ and my grill I choose Regular BBQ Charcoal only.

Hint: TO HELP BURN OFF SOME OF THE STARTER FLUID TASTE LET YOUR CHARCOAL BURN 5-10 MIN LONGER THAN THE DIRECTIONS CALL FOR. ENJOY YOUR BBQ.

BBQ Grill Review- Weber Charcoal Go Anywhere Grill

Weber Charcoal Go Anywhere BBQ Grill

OK this little grill is awesome I have Been using it for the past couple of
months for just about everything It's great for camping, hunting, tailgating or anything you do where space and weight is in the equation. I think the only negative about this grill is you have to wait a little longer for the charcoal to cool down because the grill sits so close to the charcoal, but on the other hand if you want something seared or blackened it works great. Don't let this little guy full you the bottom is set up so that with the first round of charcoal will give you a nice hour and a half cooking time. I have had this grill packed with food falling over the edges and everything came out great. the total cooking surface is right around 160 square inch's. So you cant have a cookout but you can get a good amount of output from it. Since this grill is so small you won't have to slide food around trying to find hot spots, this grill will stay the same temp equally, as the coals start to diminish. This grill comes already set up all you have to do is light it up. Another slight problem is if the legs are not set up it will fall to one of the sides, but since its not that far off the ground it won't be anything major to deal with shall that happen. Speaking of it not being off the ground that much I think that is one things that stokes my coals so to speak, it works great in the elements I have had this grill in wind, rain and the cold and I didn't really notice a difference with cooking times. Overall I'm extremely pleased with this BBQ Grill. I rate it a solid 9/10.

BBQ Grill Review-UniFlame Deluxe Square Charcoal Grill

Hey so last night I had the pleasure of pulling this grill right out

of the box, just bought it from Wal-Mart. I picked it up because

it was pretty inexpensive and looked big enough to do most jobs

on it. The box says it has a "23 Burger Capacity". OK so first I

had to put this thing together the directions were short and

pretty easy to follow although I had to ask someone for a hand

because it was almost impossible to to put the legs on one at a time without someone holding the

grill level. It comes complete with all the nuts, bolts, and tools you will need to assemble the

product, but be careful the hardware kit I got with this grill was mislabeled, what I mean is they

labeled all the pieces with letters and they didn't exactly match up with the Pictures in the

diagram but they were all there so it worked out. So after I put it together I had to put it to use.

With this grill you almost always have to put the same amount of charcoal in it even if you don't

need it hot for as long the bottom is so big and wide the charcoal will lay thin after you spread it

out. Another problem is the legs in the front twist so they are not straight like you just grabbed it

where it sat and tried to spin it. Also the legs wobble a little. The wheels are a nice addition but

there is no handle to grab, so you can't just pull it back and wheel it away so once it is lite don't

try and move it. This grill has sliding air vents on the front and back they are big enough that

you actually see the affect it has the your charcoal. The vents worked well. This grill also comes

with a flip up side trey, its always good to have a table right next to your grill but this table was

real flaky I wouldn't sit much on it, the plastic is kinda weak and tends to flex. It also comes with

a drop in charcoal trey which did make he clean up a little easier. After Putting it together and

using it I'm going to have to rate this grill a 6/10.

BBQ Grill Reviews

04/27/2010

Hello World I have created this blog today to shed light on the many different types of grills, what

I'm trying to do is educate people so they don't go out and get something they don't need or will fail

them shortly after they open it. I'm also trying to bring to life the many different grilling

accessories which make BBQ Grilling even better. If you enjoy a great BBQ as much as I do than

you know yourself that everybody likes something different for one reason or another. I also

encourage any outside help if possible.
